Weekly track champions are being crowned, invitational season is upon us!!

Joey and the J&M Motorsports team wrapped up the weekly racing at the Ogilvie Raceway August 28th, Joey won 9 heat races and had 5 main event wins during the 2010 season. Joey finished 3rd in track points.

This week will start off busy for the team, the crew is in the process of putting the 2010 GRT back together after being involved in a wreck Sunday evening.

The team will hit the road Thursday, September 2nd, in route to the Proctor Speedway for race 6 for the Como Oil and Propane Modified Series. Joey is leading Como Modified Series points by 14 points over Darrell Nelson.

The team will then travel to the Princeton Speedway for the final night of weekly racing at the speedway, this will be a short night as they will then hit the road early Saturday morning to take part in the 34th annual Labor Day Shootout at the Hibbing Raceway.

This Saturday will be race #5 for the Como Oil and Propane Modified Series, Joey is no stranger to victory lane at the Hibbing Raceway, Joey won the first Como Mod show at the speedway this past June.

Joey has 2 wins on the season in the Como series, one at the Hibbing Raceway, the other at the Superior Speedway and hopes to add another one this weekend!!

Joey will be in action on Labor Day Monday at the North Central Speedway in Brainerd Minnesota. This day will be a busy day at the speedway, The June 16th feature race for the RaceMn Modified Series that was cancelled after a terrible crash will be raced before the RaceMn show. Joey is 9th in RaceMn points just a slim 2 points over 10th place Shane Sabraski.

Joey sits 4th in Wissota National Points, over the next few weeks the team hopes to better that position. With cool weather in the forcast, It’s time to unpack the V2 sweatshirts and hit the road and support Joey and the entire J&M Motorsports team!!!!!!!!

Double header weekend!!

After drive shaft issues last night at Princeton resulting in a disapointing DNF in the feature, joey will head to the Ogilvie Raceway tonight for the season championship. Tommorow the Modifieds will again run a full show along with the DART Challenge Series.

Joey posted a heat race win and a feature win at the Princeton Speedway Friday night, this was Joeys 17th feature win on the season!!!
